Patju Presley
Emerging as part of the first generation of Irrunytju painters in the early 2000s, Presley has since become a widely recognised figure whose works are held in major Australian public collections, including the National Gallery of Victoria, QAGOMA, Art Gallery of Western Australia, and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. His practice has also been acknowledged through national award shortlists, including the Port Hedland Art Prize and the KWM Contemporary First Nations Art Award.
Presley remains a highly respected cultural authority, creating paintings that honour ancestral presence while celebrating the enduring vitality of Spinifex Country.
