It is held at a place called Whaarla in the Great Sandy Desert where there are many waterholes and is described by the artists as ‘flat like an airport’. During ‘dry’ time, rock kangaroos were hunted with spears (shown as straight lines connecting the circular shapes, rockholes). Kangaroos were hunted from rockhole to rockhole. The ceremony brought good luck to the hunters.'
