The painting represents sacred designs (kuruwarri) for the artist. There are references to Tingari men who were here in the Tjukurrpa of Dreamtime and of the activities in which they were involved. The artists spent his early years here and his camps were in different parts of this area. There were plenty of bush – foods such as ‘pintalpa’ here for the women to collect.
