Description
The Warlayirti Artists certificate reads, ‘Boxer has painted some of his traditional country, found along the middle stretches of Purkitji (Sturt Creek). The main channel of Purkitji is depicted as the central line of the painting, while the right side of the painting depicts the floodwater flowing down Purkitji. The section to the left of the painting depicts the milkwater which forms when Purkitji is filled to capacity.’
