The painting shows a series of salt-lakes (‘yaparnu) and the designs left by the Goanna-Men who travelled through here in the Dreamtime. They were carrying fire sticks and torching the country as they went. They also held ceremonies at all of these places. There are many songs and dances associated with this Law, which the artists says he learned here as a young man prior to white contact. He is now the senior custodian for this Law which he says is very powerful.
