Maymuru was awarded winner of the Best Bark Painting in the 2003 Telstra National Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander Art Award and her work is included in the collection of the National Museum of Australia, Canberra; Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, Darwin and the Seattle Art Museum, USA.
