We are delighted to announce Cross Currents: Collecting Australian Indigenous Art With Respect + Resonancea panel discussion and private reception in partnership with Asia Society, New York on Tuesday May 27 at 6.30pm.

Cross Currents: Collecting Australian Indigenous Art With Respect + Resonance will bring together the voices of Rirratjingu Traditional Owner and Yolŋu woman Mayatili Marika, Warumunga/Luritja woman and leading curator Kelli Cole, distinguished collectors Steve Martin and John Wilkerson, art market reporter Eileen Kinsella, and D’Lan Contemporary Founder + Director, D’Lan Davidson for a conversation that will explore the ethical, cultural, and emotional dimensions of collecting and exhibiting Australian Indigenous art, and its emerging presence in today’s global art world.

This dynamic discussion will be moderated by Michelle Yun Mapplethorpe, Director and Chief Curator of the Katonah Museum of Art.
