Description
Bemberrawoonany- Brumby Spring lies near old Greenvale Station, now part of Bow River Station near the northern part of Bedford Downs. It is place where Marranyji the dingo travelled when he was a man in the dreamtime. The water places he created along his travels are known to be spiritually dangerous. After the arrival of the Europeans it was for sometime the gathering place for brumbies - free-roaming wild horses that are found in the Australian outback.
